Excire Search 2024 FAQs
The installation works as with previous versions of Excire Search. Simply download the corresponding installation file for Windows or macOS and execute it, or start the installation program in the corresponding DMG file.
If you switch from an older Excire Search version to Excire Search 2024, you need to re-analyze your photos. This is the only way we can let you benefit from novel features and improvements. However, we have now developed a migration procedure such that you always have an Excire Search system ready to use: your photos are analyzed in the background and the database is update incrementally.
Migration is especially useful for users who have large Lightroom catalogs (more than about 100.000 photos) for which initialization may take several days.
You can interrupt the re-initialization and continue at any time.
