You are looking for a powerful and reliable photo management software: manage your photos with Excire Foto and use your favorite app for editing. Keywords can be stored in the photo- or XMP files, so that they can be used in the Windows or Mac Spotlight search.
Metadata can also be transferred to Capture One and other apps. Further workflows are described in the Excire Foto manual and the tutorials.
Excire Search 2 is the right choice if:
Adobe Lightroom Classic is your standard photo management software. Our Lightroom Classic Plugin “Excire Search 2” is fully integrated in Lightroom Classic providing all the information you need to manage your photos and save metadata in photos or XMP files if desired.
The functionalities are almost identical in both products. Please note, however, that the databases of both products are independent of each other and the images must be initialized for both.
Most customer opt for the convenient bundle that provides more flexibility.

Note for existing Excire Foto customers: Excire Foto users have to keep in mind for testing that the previous Excire database will be modified when the program is started for the first time. Thus a switch back to version 1.3 is not possible without a backup. We therefore recommend creating a backup before using Excire Foto 2022. Excire Analytics requires at least Excire Foto version 2.0 and can be activated by entering an activation code. Simply enter such a code in your Excire Foto version in the settings in the tab „Licence“. The corresponding functions will then be activated and the required components will be installed.
