The new duplicate search tracks down exact file duplicates, different versions of an original photo, or even very similar images and photos from continuous shooting.
All this will help you clean-up your image archive and free storage space.

New in Excire Search 2022: The degree of similarity can now be defined by the user.

If you were already using Excire Serarch 2, there is no need to reanalyze the Lightroom Classic catalog. However, if you switch from a version earlier than Excire Search 2 to Excire Search 2022, you will need to reinitialize the LR catalog. This is the only way we can let you benefit from novel features and improvements. However, we have now developed a migration procedure such that you always have an Excire Search system ready to use: your photos are analyzed in the background and the database is update incrementally.
Migration is especially useful for users who have large Lightroom catalogs (more than about 100.000 photos) for which initialization may take several days.
You can interrupt the re-initialization and continue at any time.
I can call Excire Search a revolution of the photographer's everyday life. No more time-consuming tagging of images. Just enter a search term or a property and Excire does the rest - in a split second. It is fascinating how many details are automatically recognized. So nothing gets lost in the depths of the hard disk anymore. Everything under control. At any time.Pavel Kaplun - Professional photographer (Hannover, Germany)
In my daily life as a creative image hobbyist and editor for the Photoshop magazine DOCMA, it is very important for me to quickly find suitable photos for montages, 3D textures or articles in my photo inventory. Excire helps me with this and also lets me search for criteria that I probably would never have keyworded manually, such as the predominant color or the image contrast. Searching for similar images has also become indispensable for me - as has Excire in general.Olaf Giermann — Digital Artist
