In the right-hand panel (when the Metadata tab is active), the photo's metadata is displayed and can be edited by clicking the pencil icon.
This opens the dialog for editing the metadata, where the fields for contact, content, shot and copyright can be filled in. This can also be done using a pre-defined IPTC profile that can be assigned to the photo.
The metadata view is divided into EXIF data and IPTC data categories. You can find the toggle switch in the left column of the metadata window.
The display and maintenance of EXIF data is again divided into different views: By clicking the corresponding tab above the display, you can switch between General and GPS Data.
